TOURS

We start from the pier of Gialova and head towards Sfaktiria, passing by Fanari-Tsichli Baba. On our left, we have a visual of Pylos’ Niokastro, and we head towards Methoni and then to the island of Sapientza. Our first stop for swimming is at Ammos beach, with its turquoise waters and white sand. Then we will also visit the beach ‘Kokkina,’ where the waters are also crystal clear and pristine. Leaving Sapientza, we pass by Methoni and its castle ‘Bourtzi.’ On our return, we will make a stop at the hidden cove of Sfaktiria ‘Trapezaki’ for a swim and relaxation. Then, passing by the side of the Mandarin and W hotels, we return back to Gialova.

We start from the pier of Gialova and head towards Chelonaki, where the English monument is located, and we make our first stop there. We continue towards the Chrysi Akti or Divari beach and stop if we need refreshments and snacks at the Lagoon beach bar with the beautiful beach. After crossing the Strait of Sykea, heading towards Voidokilia, we have a visual of the Glossa cove, where at the top of the hill there is the tomb of Thrasymedes. Arriving at Voidokilia for a swim, we have a view of the underground entrance of Paleokastro (cave). Then we head towards the island of Sfaktiria with the first stop at the Russian monument and the Russian church. The second stop is the Italian monument. Continuing, we go to the “Trapezaki” cove to enjoy our second swim in the turquoise waters. We then explore the caves of Sfaktiria and continue to the Fanari – Tsichli Baba (also written as Tsi chla Baba), where the French monument is located. Returning towards Gialova, we will have a very close visual of the Pylos castle, Niokastro, and the Mandarin Oriental and W hotels.

We start from the pier of Gialova and head towards Chrysi Akti-Divari, where we reach the Strait of Sykea, a narrow passage 150 meters wide from the Gialova coastline to Sfaktiria. From there, we head towards Proti Island, which is opposite the village of Marathos, and we make a stop for swimming at the secluded ‘Vourlia’ beach. After enjoying the sun and the crystal-clear waters of the beach, we will return, making a stop for swimming and coffee at Chrysi Akti-Divari and the Lagoon beach bar. We then return to Gialova.
